In the build up to the festive celebrations, our staff have been compiling old shoeboxes filled with small gifts to bring smiles to the faces of underprivileged children.
As a company working in the education sector, we place great value on the happiness of children. Therefore, upon hearing about Operation Christmas Child, we felt compelled to get involved.
Operation Christmas Child is an initiative founded in 1990 by the Samaritan’s Purse, with the mission to show love in a tangible way by giving small shoeboxes filled with gifts to children in need around the world.
As a result, more than 146 million children in over 150 countries have had shoebox gifts to wake up to on Christmas morning.
We’ve had a lot of fun assembling our shoeboxes which include everything from toys and school supplies to hygiene items.
We have also made a £1,000 donation to show our true admiration for the inspirational work of the Operation Christmas Child initiative.
Thank you to everyone who made a contribution.
